He said he couldn't give us any but we could talk to his supervisor. I asked for 2 buffet coupons so we could grab a bite to eat while we waited. He said they were still unsure at the moment. I went to the front desk and asked the gentleman if he had any info on what happened or if we could return to our room. After around 20 minutes of waiting outside with no hotel representative directing us what to do or explaining the situation, we peered in the lobby and it seemed as though it was business as usual. We made our way to the hotel drive with the other guests and fire department. After coming out the side of the building, we noticed every floor was evacuated. We came across an elderly woman who was by herself and helped her down. We quickly got up and made our way to the stairwell from the 14th floor.
While in the room relaxing during the evening, the fire alarm went off. This place has by far one of the best pools in San Diego County which is one of the main reasons I visit. We spent the afternoon by the pool and enjoyed the friendly service from the bar staff. This review is solely based on my last stay- We booked a last minute trip for a Sunday and Monday night.
